Heavy on the Headbands

As we prepare to cozy into winter I expect I would want to crochet some nice warm scarves or socks. Instead I have been compelled to create cute little headbands. I really enjoy making them because I start out freestyle and then once I see what I have I make sure it is not too large or small for a headband.... if there is such a thing. I also write down many of my patterns as I will be offering pattern books soon. I used mostly Acrylic yarn for these but I plan to add some more adventurous textures soon. The buttons I made for the black and white headband I will also be using in some other items coming up soon.

Head wear seems to be on a definite rise fashion wise and I for one am glad to see it. I am fascinated by the romantic world of fashion past when it was uncommon to be seen without headwear. I am a big fan of Jane Austen novels and movies. Ignoring the flaws of society and concentrating on the romantic side of this period.
